Realistically, how much worse do we think Tremor MPG will be vs. FX4? Is there anyone here who already has their Tremor and can tell us about mpg? I ordered Tremor rather than FX4 mainly for the (relatively) affordable lift, improved approach/departure angles, and upgraded off-road tires, but I'm only an occasional light off-roader. Mostly, it'll be used for a 23-mile 65 mph commute and maybe some road trips, so fuel economy is key.

Wild guess on my part: I don't think you are going to see a huge decrease. The only actual difference is the change in suspension, skid plates, and the tires. I believe the engine and drivetrain are exactly the same as the AWD model. So, unless the tires have markedly increased friction on the road, you shouldn't actually notice any difference.

So you think the tires will be the main difference, and the slightly higher ground clearance and less-aerodynamic front-end shape (due to the improved approach angle) won't matter too much?

I'm not an aerospace engineer. But I don't think that will be the difference maker. Generally what kills performance for an off-road vehicle is the 4-wheel-drive system. But since it will use the same AWD as the non-Tremor, I don't think the Tremor package itself will be the difference maker. Maybe 1 MPG... if the wind is blowing the wrong way?

Nobody has a tremor, they aren’t being built yet.

Thanks for the answers everyone!
I didn't think anyone had a Tremor yet either, but then I saw another thread on here yesterday that someone had spotted one driving down the highway!

I think I saw a thread where someone ordered his on the first day when no one else could get Tremor to come up on dealers computer to order, got the thank you for your order email, was pushed once or twice and built and arrived in time for his birthday. And this was two or three weeks ago. 🤷🤷🤷😳😳😳

Too many to list.

The gas mileage in my XL with AWD, lift, 4k and 245s was pretty disappointing. I'm hoping for another mpg or 2 with the taller rear end ratio than my 4k and more aerodynamic front bumper.

I just got my xlt, fx4 a few days ago. I am averaging right around 25mpg on my first tank of gas, mostly hiway.

I am hoping for about the same on an xlt, tremor.
