Guess that is the way it is (Right Now).

People - Flipping Houses
You - Flipping Cars (trucks in this instance).
I personally take no offence. IF I was waiting for a copy of my own, I would be a little miffed... :(

I havent seen this much, Ado... for a vehicle.
Since, when the First Rangers' came on the scene.
Back in 1983... (I should know. I'm an Old Timer, LOL):cool:

I priced mine right after I got it because I have another one coming and then did it again recently. I have a Lariat Lux hybrid with CP360A and BAP, 4000 miles. Vroom only offered originally $31k, now down to $27000. Carvana offered $36k originally and now down to $30k. I had some great discounts and rebates and got it for $34k after TTL but has an MSRP of $36,700. Definitely not getting offers anywhere near $5-10k over MSRP. Not even getting MSRP which is insane for a hybrid.
Interest rates are up and car buying is dropping off. That I believe is the only reason that Ford dealers are start to have a Maverick or two hanging around.

Sure sounds like the Maverick market is starting to soften in certain areas of the country. This is giving me pause as I'm considering buying my soon to be built XLT AWB EB and trying to flip it as I no longer need it. Certainly doubt I would see much profit after TTL, etc. I can't drive 5 minutes around me here in Metro Detroit without seeing a Maverick...

It all depends on your area. Plus Lariats aren't getting the profit that XL and XLTs are. You should be able to get a price from Carvana or Vroom since you have the VIN already just to see what offers you could get.

Wow I didn't know we could get a price as long as we have a VIn#. I guess I'll give it a shot and then do it again right before the truck arrives.

Curious if anyone of you who already own your Maverick have been getting contacted by the dealership to trade it in?

I made an initial inquiry to Carvana for giggles months ago, and received an email update the other day from them offering $27,000 for my XL, which is about what I paid for it all in with taxes included.

They'd have to make me a hell of a deal for me to even consider it.

Anyone else go to the dark side after your long-awaited Maverick?
I had my XLT for 3 months when my Lariat came in. Dealer offered me less than I paid for it and I went to Carmax, got an offer for more and then the dealer gave me almost $2k more than I paid for the XLT. Plus the tax for the XLT went towards the Lariat so that saved another $1.5k.

Just came back from CarMax and they only offered me $37000 for my Lariat, basically MSRP and doesn't take into account the bed cover, bed liner, ceramic tint, coating and PPF I added after the fact. No thanks

Check WhipFlip for sell pricing. Don't know if they are for real though. 22 Civic - Carmax $23,000 Whip Flip $24,141?
Maybe that's why they call it WhipFlip = to flip
Not a bad idea
If you have an MSRP dealer you will have to take title and pay sales tax in order for them to sell it as used with a higher price.
