Thanks for the pics. Are you able to post a picture with the cover rolled up? Also, does the cover flap in the wind while on the highway. I have a soft roll-up cover but the flapping noise drives me nuts when driving on the highway.
I will take one when it gets warm. 7 degrees right now. FYI It rolls up tight to where the roll only blocks 1/2 the back window.

I noticed the price keeps going up.☝ I looked today and they're up to $580.

Makes sense. Thanks for the info. Any idea if it flaps or flutters when at high speed?

No flutter. It has some weight being all aluminum slats. Probably weighs 60 lbs.

I have a 2025 on order. Is the consensus on tonneau covers that hard rollup type is the best with the only main con that it’s expensive? Going to be hauling a lot of bikes in the back and my original thought was to get a trifold, but the fact I won’t be able to see out the back window is making me have second thoughts. Are there any good trifold brands for bikes or should I just go with a more expensive roll up? Would love to go cheaper if it’s an option. Thanks
I couldn’t justify the added cost for a hard roll up. Had them in the past. The Rough Country soft top looks awesome and works great for under 200. Very happy with the choice.

Seems like every one of those roll-up covers needs a rail system to go in...and the Truxedo ones don't look like they come off all that easily either. Or am I looking at these wrong?

I got the cover installed today and here is my review of it, along with some other observations.

This was our starting point (Ford drop-in liner and Truxedo Lo Pro soft rollup that's been partially removed already):

Here is what the bed on my 2020 Ranger looks like after only 4-5 years with a drop-in liner:

The first order of business was to install the BedRug replacement liner and the RealTruck swing case:

Next came the TLAPS hard rollup tonneau cover from eBay. The following pictures show the components and packaging, which all looked like quality items. The contents even included a 14/17mm wrench that wasn't a throw-away tool as so many of these things are.

The picture below shows the latching system. The latch itself is adjustable and seems to be a quality component. My former techs were impressed with the overall quality and felt it exceeded both Truxedo and BAK Industries.

Additional observations:

  1. The weatherstripping along both sides of the cover is built into the grooves between slats rather than just taped to the top of the cover.
  2. The rails have drains near the front.
  3. The product comes with a very thick weatherstrip that, even when compressed, fills the space between the bulkhead and the bed rails.
  4. The straps to secure the cover when rolled up have a carabiner style attachment to hook into the posts at the front of the cover and the eyelets that attach the straps to the cover are embedded securely into the strap material; you cannot get a fingernail under them.
I paid $569.00 for this cover (it's now up to $642) on eBay and consider it equivalent in design and build quality to any of the major brand covers. Of course, time will tell as to durability but the prognosis is favorable.

Thanks so much for this review. Please do post back in a bit with your long term thoughts and observations - thinking about picking this cover up in a couple of months. Again, thanks.
