I keep seeing this image in the ads on this site. It is a paint sprayer. But I keep thinking: Wouldn't something this shape make a great tie down for the sliding side rails in the Mav?

Anyone have the tools and know-how to make my dream happen? My truck came with two but I often could use four and I'd take six. Any other creative add ons to the stock rail system?

I'm thinking of going the molle route myself. It's affordable, and there are many options depending on what you want to hold/contain/strap down. Just a thought. 🙂

IMHO simple anchor points would work better. I don't have the sliding rails, so just bolted 8 of them to the rail mounting points. But the rails could hold many more.

Exactly the same thing I did. They work GREAT and are inexpensive.

I used these for my sliding rails. You have to modify them a bit to get them to fit but they look like they belong on the truck.

How did you modify them?

The edges where the red marks are, are just slightly too wide to fit into the rail gap. I just sanded them down and they were a perfect fit. Hope this helps.

Sorry. Wrong edges. You need to sand down the edges that will fit into the rails. I attached new photos 👍
