A major problem for the USPS is Amazon, UPS, etc hand-off their little light weight packages (low profit packages) to the USPS. ie: I ordered a single CD from Amazon yesterday and it will be delivered by USPS because it was cheaper for Amazon to take advantage of USPS cheap rate.

Those other carriers, like Amazon, UPS, etc. make USPS's business model impossible to even break-even.

Tariffs on American goods may not cost the US exporters directly, but they can/will cost the US exporters business. If a foreign country imposes a 25% tariff on American wheat, apples, cherries (for example), it is going to hurt American farmers when those foreign buyers decide to either do without or buy from cheaper (if available) source. Reciprocal tariffs are going to squeeze American producers from both ends as their imported raw materials increase in cost and their exported products cost more.
Those in charge can spin it any way they want, but it won't change the economics.

Thank you! People just don’t get it. It is basically declaring war on both domestic entities and foreign countries. They are good when used wisely. Ladies and Gentlemen: I discovered the answer last year - as a tax software developer it was obvious. The top 2% of the wealthy/billionaires pay the lowest % of taxes. (FACT)

Our government should put a hold on going to MARS and put some attention towards fired Federal Employees and the Vets. I live 3 miles from the CDC Headquarters...and many. many senior scientists live in my neighborhood....they all say the same thing..."this country will be in a world of hurt if another Covid, Eboli or Measles hits us again. There is so much incorrect medical information and decisions being pushed out by politicians that have ZERO medical knowledge. 500 of the top CDC scientists based in Atlanta have been fired or resigned in the lasts 2 month.

The top CDC researcher and primary brains behind and leading to the development of the Covid Vaccine was fired, then resigned yesterday 3/28/25.

Covid Response:

• Where a mask, or even two. (unless you are at baseball game sitting right next to your buddy, or getting your hair done when salons were shut down) So trap the virus in your face all day long. Remember the viral load?? You got sicker each passing day. You make was a petri dish.
• Today, you are our heros, tomorrow you are fired (my body my choice, I thought)
• If you get the vaccine, you won't get covid - wrong. If you get the vaccine, you won't transmit covid - wrong again.

• I think we listened to plenty of politicians and plenty of people with medical knowledge.

We listened to all of them, and I am pretty sure we already experienced a world of hurt (in the form of a forced error). Starting with lies about the origins.
