THEY WON'T!!!!!!!!!!!Why would any vehicle manufacturer go through moving a foreign plant here when the genius who is doing this is indeed not stable and vacillates weekly???? Corporations and investors abhor the unknown because they cannot reasonably analyse the risks. My two cents!!![]()
They will move some production back, but this will probably be the death knell of the economy vehicle with an ICE. The sub-$20k vehicle was already a critically endangered species, and before you know it the sub-$30k will be, too.Why would any vehicle manufacturer go through moving a foreign plant here when the genius who is doing this is indeed not stable and vacillates weekly???? They can't!THEY WON'T!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just happy I got mine in 2022. The whole situation just sad, they are a great truck and got mine for 31K.They will move some production back, but this will probably be the death knell of the economy vehicle with an ICE. As someone pointed out in the most recently locked tariff thread, automakers learned quick during COVID production challenges that it's a lot easier to make $20k profit on one vehicle than $2k on 10. Since the capitol and regulatory cost of entering the vehicle market is so high, no one can swoop in to compete in that space either.
It's hard not to be extremely pessimistic about the future, but I guess as someone who rides a bike (bicycle) 8-10k miles / year, maybe I'm way ahead of what we'll all be doing as peasants with nothing in 20 years.
Moral of the story: Don't drink lousy beer.True. One has lost its mind. The other bat-shit crazy.
The bigger issue is stop drinking the kool-aid, it will make you a liar and more stupid. How much longer will it take to convince some that you are killing yourselfs.Moral of the story: Don't drink lousy beer.
What I meant was- don't get so hyped up about something you can't change and relax. The bigger issue is stop drinking the kool-aid, it will make you a liar and more stupid. How much longer will it take to convince some that you are killing yourselfs.
It ain't helping nobodyMy Mav is being built this coming Monday , If it cost more when it arrives then I will more then
likely pass for now . Not really sure yet .
I'm willing to bet the price is the same as agreed upon , of course this is
merely speculation .
I'm all for reciprocal tariffs , if they charge us , we charge them the same ... If it helps
AMERICAN workers I'm all for it especially when it comes to steel and aluminum .
