I never turn on the eco mode and still touch 43-44 mpg. It may be the sound of police/ fire truck I hear when the maverick regenerates/ goes electric that makes me drive slowly

Sometimes if i want to be sure the HVB is charged a little extra I will push the "L" button when I am about a mile from my garage. That has really strong Regen braking on coast mode and when HVB gets almost full the engine braking will get really loud. Probably costs a little mpg but 41+ is good enough for me. In town eco with "L" is fun one pedal driving until it starts engine braking.🥰

I don’t have my Maverick yet but do think the water bottle thing is a joke.. The door holder that is cut off to me seems like it could be a safety hazard. All just so some special water bottle that know one will buy can fit….
I like the cut off door handle as I can reach over and grab it by the end instead of having to look and twist my wrist into an uncomfortable position.

So are these known to fit correctly in the doors? Are there any other brands/models that fit in the door correctly?
HF #64100 fits cup holder perfectly have not tried in door. Lid has open slot but keeps drink cool really well and hot not as long but good.

I think the fire truck sound is the electric AC condenser and not Regen braking?

I don't have mine either. I planned on keeping an umbrella in the spot for the drink holder.

I don't get that prompt for steabelts. Maybe it's a Hybrid thing or possibly just not on The FX4 and Lariat screens. I don't have ECO mode. The door thing, yes. Nothing fits there.
Mav designers were massive beer drinkers - It makes sense to me now because none of the 10 water bottles we have fit but my root beer in an insulated holder fits perfectly -

Bottle openers on the tailgate, beer holding in the door... you might be onto something.

It must be a hybrid thing. My Ecoboost doesn’t do it.

Anyone saying their truck doesn't have the seatbelt issue, this is on the smaller screen dash. So if you have FX4, or a Lariat Trim, I believe you don't have the issue because the screen is larger. Non FX4 and lower trims have a small screen and it is absolutely obnoxious.

@respi133 got my hopes up, I thought my google fu had failed me because I have spent hours trying to find a way to disable, including with Forscan, and have yet to find a solution.

As it sits, I will only be free from it when I trade in when my Lariat arrives.

How do you disable the initial seat belt reminder screen pop-up?

Yeah I don't have the seat belt thing on my Eco FX4. I also don't have an Eco mode. I instead got a bunch of modes I will likely never use instead, so I don't have to fiddle with that. I typically use the break hold, but that stays on even after I turn it off, so no issue there. I HATE the Autostart/stop on mine and usually remember to tap it on startup, but that is the only thing I have to do each time.

I thought the door handles might be weird but they have never bothered me, not once.

They made such a big deal about the water bottle holders and I was kind of excited about that. Until I got it and my Yeti didn't fit.

On the door panels it's not that things just don't fit, even in the rear doors where the holders are larger they didn't make them deep enough so everything just tips over- I mean these doors look neat until you actually try to use them for anything-

Maybe it is a hybrid thing. I've never driven an ecoboost.
I have a Hybrid Lariat and I only get the seatbelt display if someone is in the center back seat and tries to plug the center lap belt into the right seat buckle. The seatbelt display shows an occupant not buckled in the right back seat. Hit ok and it disappears.

That too, I have a bottle that does fit in the door but it always tips over. I guess it wouldn't even be a complaint if they hadn't talked it up first.
