Feel like a Kid @ the Maverick

I am 64 and have owned over a hundred cars in my life, most brand new and some very expensive vehicles. Here I catch myself (with a $30k mini-truck), going outside to just look at my Maverick! At night, I open the door just to have the interior lights on to gawk! I am in love with this thing, it is the perfect vehicle for me!
Every time I go somewhere, I get approached to ask about how I like it!
This is a BIG HIT for Ford!

I don’t even have mine yet. I have never been so excited about a car before. Closest was back in 2001 when I took delivery of my Mercedes CLK430.

However I am older and wiser now than my 30 year old self. I would never lay that amount of cash out for a car again. Besides. Gas was sub $1.50 for premium back then.

I’m definitely obsessed- with way too much time on my hands- ordered 10.9 (Oxford White hybrid XLT w lux ) I’m sure I have a considerable amount of time to wait still. This can’t be healthy

Funny, also 64 here. Ordered my Lariat Hybrid in August. I've been eh .... about it with no news. Until I inquired yesterday via email.
Response was a build week of 1-20-22, and now I find myself grinning for no reason.
I get it everyone, it's the ultimate combo and it's happening!

I'm 59 and should get my Maverick today or tomorrow. I get excited with $5 gas in SoCal to not even think about the cost of gas and drive anywhere I want. I read Smokey Yunicks book and couldn't understand why when he retired he drove a Ford Fiesta, as I near retirement I understand.
