I've changed my oil every 5000 miles. My son in law changed the oil in their Escape by the oil monitor and at 130000 miles it was useing a quart every 1000 miles. Found out the oil rings were carboned up and sticking. On his cars since he has changed at 5000 miles with no problems. I don't agree with those oil monitors
What people don't realize is that oil monitor is driving under IDEAL conditions. The only place in the US that qualifies is California. For everybody else that actually has a winter, 5000 miles.

Florida has less winter than California.
Many winters Florida is the only state that doesn’t receive any snowfall!

Oil monitor been reset. Oil used was Mobil 1 Hybrid Full syn.
Had to open the entire panel to gain access.
Wondering if it is normal to have 4x4 opening or the dealer messed it up?
It's the panel off of a 1947 Studebaker. They are interchangeable. Just hard to find.

Too hot in Florida which makes it not as ideal as California

Nice work! It's good to have that feeling of accomplishment.

Tell me more about these gaskets you bought - the drain plug has a green oring built into it that is apparently reusable for quite a few oil changes and seals up nicely.
You see the black one, I got from amazon - seller is Keeraorin - m12 rubber 15 pcs.

Hi. I am about to do my 2nd oil change on my '23 Hybrid.

I have been pulling my hair out trying to find an actual match on the gaskets.

It's so stupid that Ford doesn't just provide a replacement gasket part number as eventually that rubber will wear out..

There was a small tear on mine that I noticed when I did my initial oil change.

I re-used it since I didn't have a replacement.

Can you please provide an amazon link to the exact item you purchased? I cannot find a match on Amazon with what you provided.

Thanks!

Everyone check your nuts when doing your oil change.

So, I did the oil change at 1050 miles. The filter was not dirty at all and seemed that it can take another 4 thousand miles.
The oil looks green but not sure how dirty as I have never seen greenish oil before.
I used new gasket bought from amazon - 15 for $6. Had the gas engine on for several minutes and there was no oil leak.
The process was fairly simple. One question - there is no enclosure in the middle of the under cover?
Now, the pics :
