I haven't received a build date yet either. My dealer, Toliver Ford in Mineola, TX ahas told me tha I am now a Priority 2. I ordered on 7/15. Hope we hear something soon.

That's where I got mine from- I don't know if they messed up my email address or what, but I never got a order confirmation, a build date, or a ship date. I called my dealer a couple weeks ago, they said it wasn't built yet, then called me later that day and surprise, it was there the next day.

There only add on fee to MSRP was a documentation fee for 75 dollars (and sales tax and licenceing which is normal) which is fairly standard for Texas, but no upcharges at all or any markups. They lightly tried to upsell some extras but weren't pushy about it. I'd probably not trade there again as I don't think I got that great of a price but that was the only real negative.

We’ve been driving our silver XL hybrid around Houston and haven’t seen any others. We took her up to Longview and got an average of about 40 MPG.
I see most Mavericks when I’m driving something other than mine
from my drive to work today
I don’t mind this at all (overall average is 30 since morning drive is light traffic, afternoon traffic is usually heavy)
Only posting that because my dad (who also has one on order) has debated waiting for a Hybrid, but I told him the ecoboost does well enough when driven like an old lady

There are a few in the Round Rock area. I have caught glimpses of them. Its like searching for Big Foot or a chupacabra. I would swear I have seen a couple but I am not sure anyone would believe me. LOL.

Yes, I was driving around Houston yesterday in my Electric Hybrid Maverick and started to pay attention to the flood gauges at highway underpasses. In my previous truck, I ignored anything under 3ft. Does anyone know what a hybrid does in high water? What is high water in a Hybrid?
