I live in the South Texas area, Mission. My Parents and I got real lucky. Both of us got our Hybrid Mavericks in December. I got mine on December 14th and my Parents got theirs on December 23rd. When I went to go pick up my plates the salesmen Eduardo at Spike's Ford informed me while he was installing the plates. That they have only sold maybe 3 hybrids. Mine really stands out being Cyber Orange. One of my co-workers told me he saw a black one but I don't know for sure if it was a hybrid. I've haven't seen another one in my area and when I think I have. It was a Ford Ranger.

I saw a black 2.0 heading towards Mission on 107 this last weekend. It's the only one I've seen on the roads so far (other than my own). I still get the occasional person asking about the truck.

Hey I ordered mine from Randall Reed's Planet Ford 635. A Phone call and the Build Specs off the ford website. Asked What TTL would be total. They Sent me a email of the Price and TTL and they subtracted the Military dicount ( 500 buck) There is another 500 Discount If you have Farm Bureau Membership. I did not know that, I kept my Name to the sales staff manager. Susan Baker <[email protected]. She and Gunther were there when I got there. In the Store out in about 2 hrs. What was on the email (Sticker and minus the Veterans Discount in what I paid. It was a Pain free experince. Only Issue I have is my Wife drove the Truck. ( Damm) Now I am back to square one, She took it while i still drive my 05 Ranger 300k miles which is why I ordered the Mav. Call Susan or Gunther you wont be disappointed. No deposit Needed. I guess they know if I didnt take it some one else wood.

Howdy from El Paso. I'm working with Albert with Granger Motors. My lousy local dealer experience is recounted elsewhere. Originally ordered an XLT hybrid, but I'm in the process of upgrading that to Lariat hybrid... mainly for the additional tech. I'm replacing a '00 Tacoma - I believe I've gotten my money's worth out of that truck. It's only 740 miles from El Paso to Holly Lake.

Hi, I am looking at buying a new Maverick but am dealer shopping to find one with no markup in Texas. Did your dealer mar it up at all? I am willing to drive if I have to.

Cool photos with the Maverick next to the 300,000 mile Ranger. Looks like to me the Mac is true generational metamorphosis (finally ), instead of the current day grown up Ranger.

What is the black trim on the lower mid part of the doors? Assuming it is to prevent door chips. Is this correct?

the bronco sport wheels look great on the lx I know some like the steel wheels but I hated them, plus you can find great deals on them in the DFW fb market there are few sets under 500 buck

Cool photos with the Maverick next to the 300,000 mile Ranger. Looks like to me the Mac is true generational metamorphosis (finally ), instead of the current day grown up Ranger.

The Black Strip is From amazon Cowels Chevy Truck Trim. Its On the Ranger too 2 /34 inch wide and Thick. This Stuff has Kept the ranger door dent free for years. Yesterday at the Grocery store a door hit the Trim on the Mav no Chip and ( Cheep protection at Walmart Worth ever penny and easy to install.) Hope yours gets here soon

No They did not. I paid Sticker minus 500 veterans discount. Then TTL thats it. They did not try to get me on anything. I wish I had known about the farm bureau. Dis count 40 Buck could have saved me 500. Do the build at the ford web site then call the Sales person and make sure that price is it . I Still recommend these guys to work with

Ford A/Z Plan buyer here. I ordered my Hybrid XLT, Luxury Pkg, & Ford 360 in Iconic Silver on 10/18 from Five Star Ford off 190 (George Bush) in Dallas. The New Car Sales Manager, Luis, has been my go-to guy and has responded to any inquiry I might have. Initially a Priority 10, however, Luis said Ford is looking to move me to a Priority 2 soon. I have not received a Schedule Date as of yet. Hopefully it will be forthcoming soon. Have a safe New Year!

Luis was great to deal with. I didn’t order from them but he was on point when they had a Mav for dealer training.
