The simple thing that Ford forgot

Picked up my Velocity Blue Hybrid today. So far it’s all I hoped for. Found a strange omission by Ford… there are no hash marks at the 5 mph increments on the speedometer; only 10, 20, 30 etc., no marks at 15, 25, 35 etc. Where we live there are lots of 35, 45, 55, 65 speed limits. Too late for me but Ford should make a running change and add some hash marks!

We use the digital speedometer on the small window on the dash. Why don't you try switching to that view?

I never use the analog speedometer. I wish it was a full digital display and I could put different data in its space.

Until you mentioned it, I didn't even notice. I'm sure they could do that, but why bother? No cop is going to write you a ticket if you're going 37 in a 35 mph zone.

And even if it's not exactly in the middle you'll be fine.

Yep, I actually like the speedometer on my 2007 Ford Edge more. More hash marks and the km/h was in a different color so it stood out more. Looked better in my opinion.

Meh, different stroke for different folks. Analog is always better looking for me, I like being able to see its relative position with my peripheral vision and knowing I'm right around where I need to be without really looking at it and reading it like you would need to with a digital speedometer... Really not a fan of that, not a fan of that in the higher trim Broncos...
