Well, as I already wrote, my June 24 2021 order is supposedly arriving July 26-Aug 1. But, not holding my breath. You haven’t been waiting that long. My November order is expected to finally arrive July 19-25
Do you get your information from Ford? I've had pretty much no news from them. They could easily calm me down with some communication.Ford is all over the map about what it says is being built. I ordered my hybrid Lariat exactly one year ago today, June 24. I was told I'd probably have it 1Q 2022. That came and went. Build showed June 1 with expected ETA of early July. They've pushed out the ETA four times with the current delivery date of July 26 - Aug 1. I don't believe it. I've decided to start vehicle shopping for a different truck or SUV. I do want the Maverick, but I think it best not to hold on to that dream. Should it arrive before I make a different purchase, I'll decide then if I want it or if I prefer to let the dealer mark it up to sell it to someone else. I'm simply fed up with the process.
Really? Are you sure any communication directly from Ford would satisfy you, or would you immediately consider it non-informative and then generate multiple more questions on things they didn't include? That seems to be the pattern around here whenever Ford does issue a mass communication posted here. Food for thought.Do you get your information from Ford? I've had pretty much no news from them. I had been calling the customer serice line. They just mimic the order status website. But, I do talk with my dealership and she sends me texts when there's a change/update. That's how I found out that my ETA moved out another two weeks. As I said, I take it all a very large grain of salt.Do you get your information from Ford? I've had pretty much no news from them. Yes! In almost 8 months I've had ONE generic email that basically said shit happens. No estimates, musings, projections, nothing of substance. I might have some additional questions but they'd be of a different and positive nature.Really? Remember all of us waited 8 months or more for our trucks, yes, we got our trucks. If you ordered in Jan. Ford still has your order, and will get it filled as soon as they can. Getting parts seems to be the problem with no answer to when. Early problems may be fixed on your truck when it's built.I think about my January order almost every day and I must say hope feels foolish at this point.
If Ford would ever just say how many orders there are and how many remain unscheduled, my guess is all of us still waiting would!
Bottom line: my truck ain't coming. Yours probably isn't either. At least not anytime soon.

With a friend from Ireland in town, he wants to know how this converts to 'stones'. I thought he said 'stoned', which I said varies state-by-state, which confused him even more...Crap ton: unit of mass, imperial unit system. Whereas the British imperial ton is 2240 lbs, and the U.S. customary ton is a mere 2000 lbs, the crap ton is generally recognized to be ~3200 lbs. The weight of a Maverick is 3636 lbs, so a crap ton of Mavericks is about 0.88 Mavericks.
