Oh yeah!
Picked up my Maverick Lariat hybrid on July 29. I only have 300 miles on it, but I already forgot about my prior car, a 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid, which I always liked and had served me well. But the Maverick! Love it already. I'm even getting better mileage, 42 mpg mostly local driving...
Yup, same here. Picked mine up Friday afternoon. Before that, I was driving a 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid and loved it. Loved it! Just thought that at a (young) 74, I wanted to remain hybrid, but that a truck for the first time was the way to go. We live in the suburbs, but it's an older...
Slow down... Take a deep breath...
I ordered mine online and signed the papers at my dealer on June 24, 2021. My Maverick arrived at the dealership yesterday, July 28, 2022. That's 399 days.
Yes, they listed four recalls for the Maverick: Electrical system/trailer brake, Rear seat belts, Fuel tank damage from spray-in Berliner, and Engine cooling/fuel vapor may be released into the engine compartment and accumulate near ignition sources.
Well, looks like I might FINALLY get my hybrid Maverick Lariat. Since June 18 it's been "in transit" with an ETA of July 24 - Aug 1. More recently, it's been in Illinois for a while with the same ETA. I text with one of the internet sales reps at my dealer here in North Carolina. Yesterday, I...
Good for you! Great news. Mine will be HPR, but Cyber was my second choice. By the way, It's been 393 days since I signed my Mac paperwork at my dealer. It's in transit, and as of today, located in Illinois (I'm in North Carolina). My dealer says ETA is "holding strong" at July 24 - July 30, but...
My hybrid Maverick is in transit and subject to the recall. However, I spoke with my dealer today and was told that when it comes in, the dealership will prep AND do the recall fix. Just posting this because it seems to contradict the idea of holding back the Mavs.
My 2014 Fusion hybrid has been great. With my delivery date slipping to Aug 1, I'm seriously considering not taking the Mac hybrid when it comes in. Tired of hearing about these electrical issues.
So, after reading the latest posts in this thread, I decided to send a text to my dealer. I know the internet salesperson works there on Saturdays. Held on June 10th for 8 days...and then released. I wonder if someone paid the ransom!
FWIW, here's our communication:
Sad sack Mav. buyer me:
Hi...
I had been calling the customer serice line. They just mimic the order status website. But, I do talk with my dealership and she sends me texts when there's a change/update. That's how I found out that my ETA moved out another two weeks. As I said, I take it all a very large grain of salt.
