So, any idea why the Brazilian maverick has turn signals in the side mirrors?
I fell down a rabbit hole for a little while and saw this:
First, I'll reference the post that started all of this....

You can see on the mirrors, there is a turn signal on the outer edge of the mirror.
On the Data Sheet, these are listed as "Outside mirrors with Driving Indicator Lights."
Also, on the splash page, they mention that the exterior mirrors have "Arrow in the Mirrors" Could this be similar to the mirrors for the mustangs?
Maybe it's a feature that got cut and didn't make it to the final version (like the heated rear window here in North America).
If they get them, that would be really cool. But these mirrors might still have some more tricks:
On the Bronco Sport Forums, another user found an official Ford part that seemed to reflect this set up.
Those mirrors have:
Yeah, I know that this was for a Bronco Sport, but when I search for any of the part numbers above, the site tells me that these parts fit the bronco sport AND the Maverick. Also, the design in the schematic above looks just like the mirror on the brazilin version.
Also, aren't the mavericks that are destined for South America, aren't they going to be built in Hermosillo too?
I really like these. If I can find a place to order them, I will.
Any internet sleuths willing to help me out on this?

- and the ability to power fold in
