I
Drop Iconic silver, Carbonized gray, Shadow Black. The world already has more than enough "monochrome" vehicles. Add Forest Green, Kodiak Brown, Desert Sand Tan.
I really like Kodiak brown on the Bronco Sport

I would add a Desert Brown color similar to Toyota's Quicksand, Honda's Sandstorm, or Nissan's Baja Storm. Also, the Forged Green color on the new Explorer Timberline would be a nice addition. The last would be a true burnt orange without any yellow hues like Cyber Orange.

If I were to drop three colors they would be Carbonized Grey (too boring) Velocity Blue (has been used for many years now) and Rapid Red (Hot Pepper Red looks exactly the same)

I'd drop paint all together as one of the options and let the consumer deal with it, just let it come primed lol, you can take it to get painted or wrapped any color, but the base model will start at 17k. It might be the most genius move a director ever made to speed up the line and drive down starting prices. I dont think consumers would mind that much, most dealership could even do the job before selling their own lot cars.
That's an interesting idea!

I really wished they'd offered the XL interior as an option for the XLT.
Me too. I would have purchased an XLT w/lux. or a bare bones Lariat with the XL interior.

Great body lines on the mid 60s Chevys. I love the scale and what were European lines of the mini vette and wouldn't mind having one now...maybe put a 2.5 hybrid in it.

I would add 2 points : Point 1 ) Oxford white is currently 6.1% on this site stats and some have suggested dropping it HOWEVER it is THE most popular fleet color and Im pretty sure the numbers reflected on orders for this site don't include the gazillion of fleet orders that will be delivered. Point 2 ) Rapid red while not a large percentage is not available for many orders due to FE restraints :)

Remove - Boring black, School Bus Cyber Orange, Hot Pepper Red

Add Rapid Red for all trims, Eruption Green ( interior would clash however ) 3rd would pick a color from the 70's Maverick.
Wasn't Rapid Red a constraint item for a while and hasn't Ford already said they are dropping it from other lines? Plus, with it being First Edition only, I assume it won't be available at all next year.

I would:
  • Drop Alto Blue in favor of Grabber Blue
  • Drop Hot Red Pepper and replace it with Boxwood Green
  • Drop Cyber Orange with Root-beer Brown

My choices—I would add a true red, powder blue, and forest green. I would drop carbonized gray, rapid red, and hot pepper red.
Powder blue. Good thinking.

Make Rapid Red a standard color option regardless of trim.
Offering green in the shade of one's choice would be nice.
Interior colors of black, gray/black and tan.

And bring back cool velour seats! (Think 80's Mercury Grand Marquis!)

How often are you going to be looking at the interior and exterior of your vehicle at the same time?
....whenever you're behind the wheel!
That expanse of hood stretching-out before your eyes?
