I get about 30.2 on the highway doing 65 mph and I have an ecboost engine as well.My 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat is a few weeks away from being one year in my possession and is sitting with 12,200 miles on the clock.
It runs perfectly, loves Ethanol Free 93 octane and I like to go fast. I also like its power, I use it often just for shits and giggles.
I never punch it, I use lots of throttle when ever I please but always mash the pedal like there is an egg under my toes and I donāt want to break it.
My one year average mpg is 26 mostly on Appalachian mountain roads. Plus maybe 20% small town traffic, or less.
Out on the interstate, on flat land I can average 30 mpg regularly.
For the last few weeks Iāve started driving it like I think most hybrid guys drive.
Not getting in peoples way, not creeping in the right lane five under the speed limit but going no more than five mph over the posted limit.
I donāt ever tailgate and Iām very good at reading the road for maximum roll ability.
Iām cementing an average mpg of 29 over the last four weeks.
Get this !
WITH my cold morning warm ups of 10-15 minutes about four days a week.
This pleases me. If I had a 15 mpg truck Iād be fine and able to afford the fuel but Iām very glad I donāt have a āCowboy Caddilacā.
My question ?
Are there many Ecoboost drivers that are averaging 29 mpg or better ?
I donāt mean over a few tanks I mean like over 10,000 miles ?
I just reset trip meter two for the first time since new.
Inquiring minds wants to know the truth. No high mileage bragging !
The Hybrid guys own that hands down.
OUCH... Going to be an expensive winter snowmobiling in Canada this year. Paying $2.729 per Gal at BJ's here in Central MA for 87. My calculations show that your $1.439 per liter comes to $3.921 per gal (us$)... My snowmobile takes premium... No clue what that will cost... Ouch, Ouch, Ouch... Going to be an expensive Gaspe Loop trip this year. lolWish I had ethanol free around me! No such luck. Mind you, regular 87 octane just went down $1.43.9 per LITRE. Big Whoop!
When I drive my wife's ecoboost I routinely average over 30 mpg. I have seen as high as 36 mpg. My wife drives more aggressively and averages high 20,s.My 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat is a few weeks away from being one year in my possession and is sitting with 12,200 miles on the clock.

In the summer using ethanol free 90 I average 30.4 on my ecoboost in city and country driving consistently. In the winter I switch over to 87 octane because it does better than the 90 in cold weather for me. I have 22,500 miles and average 28.9 for the life of the vehicle so far since November 2024.My 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat is a few weeks away from being one year in my possession and is sitting with 12,200 miles on the clock.

Thanks. Iām a little scared. Got a paper route when I was 10 and was never once unemployed since then. Hopefully the grandkids keep me occupied.
Mostly suburban grocery runs will do it. EB really shines on the highway. When I read these kinds of posts here I can't help but wonder about all the differences. I'm still early in my ownership at about 2500 miles on my 24 MY Tremor but it takes a very focused effort for me to even hang around 22 mpg. Maybe that's the Tremor or the mostly suburban grocery runs but I'm also in that "egg on the pedal" camp but I don't get anything close to what I see some post about here.![]()
I can get that with mine as well on the highway going 65 mph but the driving I do 23.6 MPG over 4,100 miles. To be honest I probably haven't driven 100 highway miles in those 4,100 miles.I get about 30.2 on the highway doing 65 mph and I have an ecboost engine as well.
12,400 mi. on my 24 fwd eco got 27.2 consistently on Sams club gas the 11 months I owned. you awd guys make me feel real good about my trade up for a 2025 awd lariat. My 2024 AWD Ecoboost Lariat is a few weeks away from being one year in my possession and is sitting with 12,200 miles on the clock.
