Easy to change water pump on 2.0 Ecoboost engine?

Just googled it. Looks like it's very simple, a few bolts and a serpentine belt removal and install.... Maybe some covers, I haven't looked. Someone said it took them 2 hours...

AllData lists it at 1.1 hr for a 22MY. Shouldn't be bad at all. Keep in mind there is also an auxiliary electric pump.

I just changed the oil in mine. It was very easy. Taking off the bottom cover took all of 5 minutes, the oil filter is easily accessible. What's not to like?

Is the water pump easily accessible?

I did mine last weekend and was surprised how much space there was to work with once the wheel and splash shield were off. The water pump bolts came out fine, but getting the old gasket off the block took a bit of scraping. Didn’t need to remove the engine mount—just supported the engine with a floor jack and it gave me enough room to wiggle the water pump out.
