Anybody else hoping their current vehicle lasts until your Maverick arrives?

Are you limping your car along to the finish line?

2007 Ford Edge, 160k miles. Brake Issues, Traction Control issues, Horrible gas mileage etc. Already dropped $2300 on repairs within the last 6 months. Just hoping I can make it.

Lol. I’ve already got mine. I just hope the Maverick lasts long enough to get my bronco 🤣

I have an 04 Buick Century. Only has 99k miles, but I’ve had to do almost $2k worth of work to it! The car is only worth about $1600. I’m ready for my Maverick!

I've got a 2012 Fusion with 185K on it. I think it'll make it until my Maverick delivery (hoping for February or March of next year), but I'm glad to be getting rid of it with it so high in mileage. She's served me well though, absolutely 0 major issues. I have nothing but confidence for my next Ford.

My original choice to trade-in (2006 Honda Element) didn't make it. Now I'm driving option #2 and hoping it will hang in there until next year.
How many miles did your Element have? And what finally made it meet its demise? Asking because I used to have a 2008 Element LX. Rear brakes just about drove me mental on that thing!

2005 Colorado running on fumes and spite at this point.

I have to pull the battery leads every night because pulling out the key doesn't turn everything off!

Wipers are always going, there is no "off" position anymore

Body control module is shot, but they don't make them anymore. Sometimes just won't start for 10 minutes

Other than that, great ride 😂

Should make it, without other issues!
Wasn't sure, when I needed torque converter and transmission replaced!
Will probably keep, after Maverick eventually arrives! Then, I can work on
it, as I choose. Then, I'll have a way to get around, without having to depend
on my folks to get me around!

My last original brake line could bust at any moment, as well as all the 'fixed' lines I worked on. I have to bleed my coolant system every Monday because air keeps seeping into the system. And the false security system trips that take 10 minutes to clear are becoming more and more frequent. And my headlights like like someone's put Christmas snow frosting on them.

These and a dozen other reasons are why the Hybrid Maverick cannot come out soon enough to replace my 2005 Impala.

Filler post I know, but I was curious to see if anybody else was like me. I have a 2010 Focus with 155,000 miles on her and while she still performs, she is aging horribly. Between the suspension replacement and the subsequent re-boring of the front steering knuckles, i'm in more on this car than I will probably get for my trade in. I'm just hoping I can limp her along until I get my Mav.

So my question is, what are you driving and are you going to make it to your Maverick?
I have an 08 Honda Civic with 276,000 km. The engine is solid but I might be driving without doors as they are rusting out. I hope production speeds up, crossing my fingers.

I haven't ordered a Maverick, but the longer my current vehicle lasts, the higher the chance. I really want to know if they're going to bring out an AWD hybrid eventually, so I'm waiting on that news.

My vehicle could go before it's announced, much less available, though, so we'll see.
