Remember that if you press brake pedal a little further (aka harder) and you get less than 100% regen that % less is what hydraulic braking is doing. 35% Regen means 65% is hydraulic. Also rear brakes are applied first. Possible if driver rests left foot on brake pedal to be ready to stop he might be driving with Regen off because he has go pedal pressed by right foot and rear hydraulics are rubbing. Maybe the programmers overlooked a Warning/beeping Popup = "Go Pedal And Brake Pedal BOTH BEING USED"?Wonder if something is wrong with the regenerative braking in transmission. Only say this because for some reason the hybrid gets a nee one in 25. Have almost 30k miles on mine the pads and rotors still look new (due to regen braking) so unless its leaking fluid or tranny has issue cant imagine what that would be.
I think the new eCVT is to accommodate the AWD option in the Hybrid.Only say this because for some reason the hybrid gets a new one in 25.
My insurance company would pay for towing to dealership or your home (even if not reimbursed by Ford along with cost for transportation (Uber, Rental, Cab, ?) to home. Policy has 30 day or $1500.00 max car rental coverage. I would be deadly afraid of any kind of incident on way home and having to discuss my decision to drive the unsafe truck home. Remember the insurance would pay for the second incident since the truck is insured (not the driver). The insurance company could then sue the driver for damage recovery on the second incident.Wait, they let him drive it home after break failure ?!.
Unbelievable.
