Thanks, I pushed life to the limits a few times in my youth. One miss adventure left me in the hospital for two weeks, most of it I was out of it on life support. Somehow I came out of it with a body full of scars, but still is almost 100% functional. I have slightly less ability to turn one...
I had a ford escort slip of the jack in high school while I was under it. Luckily, the tire was still on. It came down and thumped my chest and the shocks brought it back up to where I could slide out. First time I tried one of those jacks. I am a thicker now, would probably turn out differently.
I had a similar issue on my motorcycle a few months back. I happened to be on my way to the dealer at the time. Luckily on a motorcycle there are two brakes. The rear brake went down without ant resistance with no actual brake. The front way fine, since that is the most important one, I just...
I actually have the air tag as well. It is partly my back-up for if the truck gets taken and the battery disconnected, but also so my wife can stop asking me where I am. She complains that it is often behind on location updates. She used to have a family tracker on my phone, but I hated how much...
I did appreciate the lower hight when loading the motorcycle with only my daughter for help, while having my back tire in a ditch.
After unloading at a little grassy knoll near my house, I feel confident that I could do it without any help. If I did ever get around to raising it, I would...
I would like it to be a little taller, but due to being cheap and not wanting to stress the CV, I haven't.
The reason I would like a little more height is that I don't prefer to step right, not up or down into the vehicle. I often hit my head and stress my neck getting down into my wife's CX-5...
Got the main part back on Prime day. Went to visit my mom and use the extra wire and connecting parts my father in law has today to finally install it. Being color blind was the first difficulty to overcome, I ended up taking pictures on my phone and holding the phone up for him to tell me if I...
When I was in Vegas I saw a Mavericks gas station, so I had to stop to fill up there. I think it was spelled differently though. I didn't even notice your Maverick sticker the first time I looked at the picture. Nice!
I got the back seat cup holder/trash can combo, and the door door lock actuator pair to add power locking to the tailgate.
That leaves me with an extra if someone in So.Cal wants to pick up the other connecting wires, etc. we can get together and work on the install project for both our trucks.
They had my Mav a little over 3 weeks. It suffered the recall fix problems that made the computer go crazy. I got it back today, and it is running fine without the warnings popping up. Hoping the fix is for good.
They have had mine for almost two weeks now. Hopefully, they will be able use whatever they did to fix yours to get mine done soon. Even if they do, I am a little nervous about if the fix is lasting. Please let me know if anything comes up again soon.
I am not sure, I got something in the mail about the blinker recall, and when they called me to schedule the fix, they said there was that and two software updates, I said ok we might as well get them done. It was done on 2/26, and I think it was the most recent one. If you had your recalls done...
I have a 23 and it happened to me. I was lucky enough to be at a stop light. I was offered a rental, but I can manage without. I hope it isn't for too long though, as I really like my Maverick. I did mention to the rep that instead of a rental they can give me my first couple oil changes for...
