I ordered my XLT LUX cactus Gray 8/27/21 and got mine in on 10/18 with no problems. I added ceramic window tint 30% front 20%all rear. Am really liking it. Days are cooling off but notice difference on hot days.

That’s awesome congrats I’m hoping mine is not a major issue :(

Cannot imagine what steering issue would be? Maybe the rail car was humped or something happened to break it. Certainly hope it is simple like maybe the fuze in power steering motor wasn't installed.

Hey there. Can you send a message with your VIN, name/location of the Ford dealer you are working with, and some more details on your Maverick's steering issues? I would like to see what I can do to assist with getting your truck back on the road!

Received my xlt hybrid lux on 10/07. At 180 miles and 3 days, the power steering failed. The repair requires replacing the steering column which is apparently unavailable. You are the 4th person I’m aware of with the same problem. Mine was built on 9/5. Wondering if there’s a batch of Mavericks built around that time that got problematic steering components.

Aaarrrggghhh!!! Who woulda thunk it. Apparently there must be permanent magnets on steering column which could extend through a stator = a real nifty idea. If it's just a step motor what does that make the operator? Aaarrrggghhh!!! Got it we can call him the driver! Or maybe a stepper? Unfortunately this doesn't sound like quickie fix or one that needs to be done outside of warranty. Hope they find a replacement soon.

When my Steering failed on my C-Max at 38,000 miles, they had to replace the entire EPAS unit...at about $1900. Better it happens while under warranty!
