AI is great for getting a quick answer, but it sucks at getting a consistent, reliable answer.
You can ask a question 2 slightly different ways and get opposite responses to the same question.

It's basic problem is it is artificial but it isn't intelligent.

Machines don't actually create content, so they don't create slop, they merely assemble responses based on the more prevalent data they have to look at.

Post an incorrect fact about a Maverick to this site and you are likely to see a bot quote it, even though it is misinformation.

AI stands for, "not a whole lot of thinking going on."

That said - if you want to preserve your EB’s turbo and transmission:
1) Disable auto start/stop
2) Change your motor oil & drain/refill your your trans fluid more often than Ford recommends.

I agree that EB Sport Mode has the added benefit of disabling the start/stop. And when driven responsibly - can be the healthiest mode for one’s power train. But I would advise against “flogging” it.

Just stick to disabling the start/stop and do the severe schedule fluid changes.

If you have been using stop/start for 80,000 miles - you have a carbon build up on your intake valves AND your turbo’s bearings, oil passage, & tiny oil filter.

It has happened gradually & unnoticed by you. But if we switched trucks for a test drive - we would both notice a huge difference between your 80,000mi start/stop and my 2,000mi sport mode only.

We all know that start/stop will leave carbon deposits on intake valve & turbos - degrading performance and mpg’s slowly & unnoticeable.

No, we don't all know that.

I agree that stopping oil flow through a hot turbocharger can coke the oil on the bearings. I'm curious what it is that you think ASS does to contribute to intake tract deposits.

I could not find any “AI slop” to make my point - so I resorted to “Chops Slop”.

AI is trained to push green tech. Start/Stop is green tech - so AI has nothing but good things to say about it.

Had to resort to investigating the PCV system during start/stop myself & make up some Chops Slop.

I prefer Chops Slop to AI Slop - but unbiased & factual AI is my favorite!

Now I'm intrigued. I'm driving from Ohio to California, with some detours in a few weeks. I can swing by where ever you're at and we can do a few head to head drag races. Sport Mode is quite aggressive. But fun as hell. I'm down if you are. We can even invite some other local Mav owners.
