Speedo inaccurate before or after or always?

Before I got my tune on my f150 I used a superchips flashcal to calibrate the speedo. They make one for the bronco sport 2.0 ecoboost buy not the Maverick. Maybe I'll just get a tune to correct it + other things with the tune.

Livernois tuner has the option to change on the fly along with good custom tunes and unit can be used a s gauges if left in place with window mount.
It is about $600 though .

Mine seems to be off by 1 mph in the 50-70 range. If the car is showing 50, I'm actually going 49 based on the phone GPS or mapping software. This is consistent, so I'd say that it's true. Not a big deal. If it were off 3 or 4 mph, I'd be a bit more concerned.

New to me 22 XLT is also showing 2-3 mph slower than GPS on Waze, Google Maps and two different GPS speedo apps I installed. Not the end of the world but weird.
I do need to check the tires, not sure if they are stock, close but not sure.

Just reading through this and remembered I have an older Scan Gauge in my Mustang I can swap over and see what the OBD is reading.
Heck, I have multiple apps to read the OBD for that matter...

Yeah I'm not spending 600 just for the speedo. Might get a tune at a later date.

Well that was a dud. No such adjustment with the ids for the Maverick. Weird, the Ranger and F150 do have this capability. We're looking at getting forscan.
