I love to be able to turn on a Jetson spaceship sound, when I felt like it.
Maybe when coasting around parking lots.
Or just automatically below 15 mph.
Bought a used 22 XLT back in august.
It had the weirdest crack windshield. There was a circle about 6" across, maybe 6-8" to the left to of the rearview mirror up near the top, not really in line of sight. It was maybe 3/4 of a full circle and very round. No splinters or cracks radiating from...
Good points, it may have been weakened before I got ahold of it.
Did some digging during and after lunch and fund the correct M7 Carbonized Gray paint from Kustom Cans with primer, base coat and clearcoat for around 60 bucks.
I'll likely give that a shot, see how it goes.
I can go powder...
Probably not going to much help there, sitting just above 42k.
Good thought tho, I was wondering about that.
The rest of that wheel and the other wheels appear fine.
No issue with body paint.
(edit, added pics to end of this post)
bought a used 2022 about two months ago and so far, I love it. Velocity Blue with the carbonized grey aluminum wheels. I like that they aren't black (not hating the black, but really like the dark grey),
It's been outside and needed a wash yesterday and...
Oh, no (almost even) bugs is a win for me.
I have been considering the lipped/bug free deflector for my new to me Mav. Good to know it is working.
Getting re-replaced windshield next week. I bought the truck used with a 5" diameter crack near the rear-view mirror. (I really wish I had taken a...
Yeah, I haven't see one in person, but in pics , I 'm not a fan of that new front.
Probably cheaper than the original, larger lighted area.
Might "help" aerodynamically, but I really like the original front end much better.
Just wanted to give Lane a shoutout.
I ordered two of the wrinkle finish tie downs last Wednesday and they were in my mailbox Friday.
They look great and if I can get 15 minutes of free time, I'll drop them on.
Nice job and great service.
Thanks
I bought one of these for my Mustang years ago not long after i go it.
Also installed it inside the fuel door for a cleaner look. I used it ALL the time, loved it.
It had just died about a month ago and I couldn't bring myself to buy another at $120 for a 16 yr old car that I might get rid of...
I knew about the BSM and lane warning stuff (still on the fence with that one but I do see the idea).
Back out of driveway the other day, stopped, foot on break to look at phone before taking off.
All of a sudden, I get a warning and voice about "cross traffic behind" and sure enough a car...
and this is why my name only has the one "T" .
This was "traumatic" as a child, standing in the store looking at the little license plates for your bike and never seeing you name spelled right.
anyway, Stoogedude, nice idea. For some reason horse is my first thought as well.
I might use a no touch auto wash but no spinning rags of scratching for me.
I'll use the hand wand bay to give it a quick spray, but don't use the dreaded soap brush that the guy before used to scrub the gavel out of his truck with. Maybe on the windows to help with bugs.
Love some of these ideas.
I was thinking about load poles, forgot about HF.
While digging around the last week I came across this and ended up getting one.
I love this thing. (sorry, having issues with dropping in the pic)
Truck Bed Cargo Storage Box | Easy Access | Full Size 56" | Rough...
New to me 22 XLT is also showing 2-3 mph slower than GPS on Waze, Google Maps and two different GPS speedo apps I installed. Not the end of the world but weird.
I do need to check the tires, not sure if they are stock, close but not sure.
Just reading through this and remembered I have an...
Car shopping with the wife on Friday led to me buying a 2022 Maverick on Saturday.
I've had them on my radar for a bit, but I haven't had a car payment in around 14 years, and I had to really convince myself that it was time.
Got a really nice deal on 36,000 mile Velocity Blue XLT. Runs and...
