We will begin with the front doors. There are 2 7mm screws in the bottom of the door, 2 underneath the window control(pull up at the back end, as it slides in at the front so pull-up and slide back), and one 8mm hidden behind the door handle (black plastic piece pops off). The door speaker appears to be 6 3/4, part number and such on the photo. To get to the tweets you need to pull the white plastic A pillar cover, which is held on with standard pull clips and an elastic. Be cautious not to screw up the airbag. Once that piece is off you can pull the speaker grill from above the tweet, and the tweet itself is clipped on with 3 prongs around the cone. The back speakers are a royal pain. First tip the seat forward and remove the plastic piece that goes around the middle passenger seatbelt (yes all the way across as it holds down part of the c pillar trim, luckily it's only held with light clips) . Next remove the dark trim piece below the light piece the speaker is on (again just clips on this one, pull). The c pillar trim will have one screw near the bottom, toward the door side, should be 7mm or 8mm. Once that's removed, while gently pulling out toward you on the cpillar speaker assembly, lift it up a bit (the clips are in a slot and WILL NOT PULL without breaking unless the assembly is pushed up to align the wider part of the slot, ask me how I know it'll break). These speakers are held to the plastic trim itself, and appear to be 4s . All model and speaker photos attached to make it easier to cross reference. This is on an xlt, not the lariat or b&o upgraded stereo. Hope this helps some of y'all. Oh yeah, the door speakers have a shallow 1.5 inch to fit into depth wise, otherwise the run into the window track brace, so either mount out with a spacer or find a slim speaker.
