I believe the fuel pump is inside the gas tank. Pushing your car to less then 1/4 tank will decrease the life expectancy of your fuel pump. Just food for thought. Needs the gas to submerge the motor to keep it cool.
Thank you for the follow up. I already did the butyl lining on the doors and the rear passenger areas. I will do the headliners when the temp starts to improve and i will take pictures.
Whenever I open the rear window only on my 2006 Honda accord, 2022 camry hybrid, 2004 tacoma 4 door, 2014 forrester and pretty much every car I owned besides a minvan makes that hollow noise. It has something to do with insulation or too much of it for wind to pass through.
Has anyone removed the headliner from their maverick? I wanted add butyl and mass loaded insulation. Was wondering if there is enough space available to install this. Thank you in advance.
Just got notified from Bed Rug that they will be making the complete drop in bedrug for the maverick in couple more months. It would have the side walls and tail gate. Now I don't have to do the spray in bedliner. In SF the spray in costs 750$
My dealer told me today they are no longer taking 2023 orders. They told me I would be wait listed until Ford reopens their order banks again. Can this be true? How could they shut down in three days.
If you do it yourself it would be worth it. I did mine first week I had the car but iron particles still stick to the cars paint. I had to use more iron removal the second time but lot less work on the clay bar. Another coat of spray on ceramic coating was used 2 months later.
