Depends what and where. I've used Hot Glue. Sticks well enough and peels back off well, kind of messy though, and it is heat sensitive of course. 3M Double Sided Tape has worked for me too. Velcro can do the job too but it really depends.
I had the same sticker. I left it on because I thinks its kind of cool. Working in the industry the last couple of years I've learned lots of little interesting things manufacturers do in the name of quality control.
Does Waze really block other people? I can still search on Waze through AA all the time. It's usually the completely nerfed Tidal app that gets on my nerves but I just use voice commands to search on that. For USB I haven't found any workarounds yet. Just keep hitting skip. I really am unhappy...
So to help others, I fixed my annoying extra noise issues by rewiring everything. The converter didn't like being grounded up front. Needed to be grounded in the same spot. My amp setup has a built in converter so ultimately I cut the extra converter out. The LC2i or Kicker or Scoche I bought...
That would make sense. I was assuming something along those lines. In my original post I was tapping 12+ from the headunit until I realized it never powers off unless in deep sleep mode. Once I made all audio gear power off with the key the chimes went away. So that explanation checks out. Btw I...
what do you mean by a ground loop?
The Way I have mine set up I have an amp powering the door speakers and powering the subwoofer in the back. There is a Signal Converter I hid in the dashboard that is grounded and powered up there by the radio wiring. The Amp is in the back behind the back...
"Ford happy song"??? What is that???
LOL that's the nick name we gave the ford door chime at my job. I work in Automotive. lol.
Its a good thing it stopped playing if you hunt back for one of my original replys. I was trying to make it shut up.
Also the amp is grounded behind the seat like in...
Update:
Anyone else who's installed having grounding trouble? I've had mine installed for months and just switched LOCs for a better one but now all of a sudden a crazy ground loop. I haven't had a chance to go check the wiring yet but looking for ideas others did.
Also, Since the beginning my...
I've done some digging in the ford parts catalog, it looks like they have used this same cushion mold for years. It's possible Escapes going back as far as 2014 used the same seat cushion part. Also Ford is charging crazy money to get replacement covers. It would suck if you needed to replace...
If the seat rails are the same I don't see why not. Changing the whole seat would be easiest in that case. Would definitely be epic. Seems like a P.I.T.A. to get all the functions working though, but possible. I've seen a few tricks done with power seats.
I haven't seen another Thread Like this, but I have some secret knowledge lol and I've noticed other Fords such as Mach E look to have the same shaped seats as the maverick. I'm into customizing on the cheap. I'm curious to try to get my hands on some leather seats from another ford. I Know I've...
I had to get used to having 4 doors instead of just two with my maverick. I still can't stop pressing the back windows when I mean to press the fronts, or trying to open the back doors and forgetting they are still locked. lol. As far as size goes, I think most people should be fine, does sit up...
I'm all into street trucks but more the style from the early 2000's than the 90's mini trucks. I think it looks good. A perfect mixture of lowrider and mulletastic for the paint job. Definitely more of an art piece though. Would be cool at a car show. Mavericks look good lowered and in street...
Honestly I wasn't feeling any of Fords colors. Ironically the color I got disappointed me most when I thought it might be most tolerable. I don't like dark dull colors. I thought CG would be more graphite. The other colors are just all a bit off in my opinion. Too adventurey, if thats a word...
