I was wondering if anyone else has had their speakers make a crack/pop noise while connected to CarPlay/Bluetooth it does not seem to do it with normal radio so I don’t think it could be the speakers.

I had the same issue with android auto switching cables and making sure it didn't jiggle while driving fixed it. I am using a magnilink and no longer lay my phone down just have it sitting up. Hope that helps.

I have noticed this but I couldn't reproduce it today. Odd, because I could make it happen on demand with a particular track of audio. CarPlay only, I don't have BT paired.

Mine started doing something similar today. If I had CarPlay on and paused the music it would only do it if I turned it up past 23. It was like a reverberating noise. Weird.

Like others will probably tell you, first step with Carplay issues is to try a different known good cable, then a third just in case. After that, the unique troubleshooting can begin, and people will still ask you to try another OEM Apple cable just in case lol

Did it stop? Mines started to do that and I’ve tried different cables. Then finally on Bluetooth but the noise is still there. Radio did not have the sound

It is weird it happened to me that one time and when I finally shut it off to go into work when I got out it stopped it has to be a glitch within the system bc I have not seen it happen yet

Yeah, real strange. Hopefully fixed in software update. I shutoff the ignition completely off and then on and the issue went away.

Have you not updated your radio yet? I used to have this issue, but the update that mostly fixed the random crashes also fixed the crackles in Android Auto for me.

Hi there. This audio concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Maverick. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

Did anybody fix this issue yet? I’m having the exact same issue in my 2023 maverick.

Any update here? I turned my vehicle on this morning and the speakers instantly produced the loudest, deafening noise before popping and crackling for minutes, even after I turned the vehicle off. I never have my speakers on over an 8, so I know it wasn’t accidentally turned on max volume or something. The crackling sounded like the damn thing was about to explode. I turned over the vehicle one last time, it stopped, and now the speakers work perfectly normal. So odd. It’s a hybrid lariat with the b&o speakers.

Hi there, Michael. Will you send us a PM with your VIN and dealership name/location? To send a private message, just click on our username and select "Start Conversation". I can look into things on my end regarding these speaker noise concerns.
