This is the center dash speaker on the B&O Maverick 8 speaker system. The factory OEM wiring shows a solid black, and a black with white stripe. I've read that in many cases the solid black is usually the negative. Not being able to fine a wiring diagram, can anyone tell me for sure which of these two wires is positive? The wires inside the dash, ie, the other end of where this plug into, is blue/white and green/white.
any help appreciated.

good pic, this helps me understand. pull or carefully cut the black fabric cable wrap away from the vehicle side bundle and you should see the wires inside that correlate to this diagram.

the wire colors after the molex connector are not shown on the diagram. I believe black is negative but I'm certain that molex is a straight pass through, not crossed, so when you unwrap the cable you can be sure.

These diagrams don't seem to be complete. After all, its a 8 speaker system and the above diagram only shows five speakers, and this below diagram shows three. But there are duplicates, like LR and RR. The above diagram shows the speakers eminating from the DISP, take it that is the amplifier? Then the below shows three speakers out of the ACM, which I guess is the headunit in the dash. I'm speculating that the ACM is supplying the center dash speaker, and the left and right backseat pillar speakers. That leaves the amp to supply the subwoofer, and the L/R front door speakers, and the L/R dash tweeters.

Can anyone confirm?

In general speakers terminals are not "positive or negative". Audio is actually AC. Speaker "polarity" is usually only important so that the left & right and the front & back are in phase.

Looking at your photo there appears to be a "+" by the terminal with the stripped wire. If so use that for your "polarity" .

Back when I worked in a car stereo store, we used a battery with wires soldered to it and touched the speaker and watched for upward movement on the cone to determine positive. Also we used it to test wiring to the speakers during install.

There's a separate diagram for the amplifier. The center speaker and the C pillar speakers are driven by power from the head unit and the rest from the amp.

All the diagrams here https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...or-remote-in-audio-harness.12949/#post-258270

Tell me is this right. Looking to determine which wire is positive.
With a 9V battery, touched the positive of the battery to the white strip lead on the spearker, negative to the all black wire - the speaker pushed "UP". So that should mean that the white striped lead is the positive.

On the supply inside the dash. the supply is on the right side. The white wire on the bottom mates to the white strip wire on the speaker, and the green wire on top mates to the all black. So here, white is positive and green is negative.

Not sure if the wiring diagram indicates the same.

Correct.

The wires to the center speaker are Green w/ Brown stripe and a Blue w/ Gray stripe which is positive.
