Also about inventory levels.It’s all about location, mileage, color, and condition.
If there is too much unsold inventory then prices will drop and when inventory is low prices will rise.
I have keep the offers for my Maverick from Carvana and Vroom on the 1st and 15th of each month going back to early 2022.

For 2023 the lowest prices were in early 2023 and 1/15 was the absolute lowest with Carvana at $28,388 and Vroom at an unbelievable low price of $25,968.
Just three months later on 4/15 Vroom's offer was $35,798 or almost $10k ($9,830) over their offer of $25,968 on 1/15.
