My neighbor is selling his 2021 Tesla to Carvana. He got a quote and accepted the price. He took the car for a 15 mile trip. Wrote the new mileage in the online paperwork, and Carvana took $25.00 off the original price quoted because of driving it 15 more miles than he originally posted.

Something fishy here. I have sold cars to Carvana and they have told me I can add up to 1,000 miles between accepting the offer and pickup without changing the offer. That has been the case every single time.

I was offered 11am more than MSRP for mine at kbb instant cash value as well as carvana. It’s insane! Im still keeping mine for a while though. Unless I can get into an f150 for the same payment then I’ll ditch the mav. But that seemingly unlikely unless I put down like 35k or more on the truck I’d order haha

For my brand new Lariat, Carvana offered $34,500-ish on a sticker of $31,995. Add tax, and it's not all that high. I've read that Carvana is struggling a little, and I noticed a distinct drop off from a few months ago when I was waiting to sell my 2016 Fusion (before the Mav showed up). I wound up selling the Fusion to Carvana anyway, but I'm holding onto my Maverick.

Sold my xl xwd to Carvana for $34xxx a week or 2 ago had 6800ish miles... Sad to see it go but was an offer I couldn't refuse... Plan on buying an XL hybrid next available order date... Truck was $27xxx otd and I have been driving it since October. Again since loved the truck but don't know how long they are going to be offering these crazy prices and now I get to order hybrid

A year ago (August '21) Carvana stock closed at ~$360, yesterday it closed at ~$27. That's >90% decline in market valuation. There's a reason for that...

A year ago (August '21) Carvana stock closed at ~$360, yesterday it closed at ~$27. That's >90% decline in market valuation. There's a reason for that...

I told my son about 6 months ago, they are going to be in big trouble very soon. Wait until the market for cars get better. They could be gone.

Carvana is hemorrhaging money... but that's not so unusual for a start up. The car market has not done their business model any favors. Will they survive?? Time will tell...

Same mileage on mine 4482.

I paid $26,068 out the door or $2,278 higher than yours.

So offer difference between us is $2,505

Looks like Carvana is pricing the features of the XLT vs the XL at a premium.
