I have the 3M Crystalline on 2 vehicles and love it. I chose 3M Crystalline because I live in Southern California where I would have to worry about getting a ticket and 3M rystalline is clear. Actually the The ceramic, I believe does have some colorsommight be detected as 3M crystalline doesn’t change the appearance of your vehicle so you might want to check into the 3M. One of my cars that had it on was cracked by quite a large rock and it never spread until I replace the windshield two days later the guy at the windshield shop said that’s what’s great about turning the windshield with a clear tent is it makes glass so much stronger

Consider the clear windshield tint. The luminar ceramic IR is great and really reduces the temps for summer heat.

The 3M is not discernible at all.....clear! Go to a tint shop ans see for yourself....especially as compared to other non-clear.

Big reason I chose the deflector I have. Those flush ones do very little. But even the one I currently have on the Maverick doesn't have that lip on it like previous ones I've had. I added some rubber cones underneath to give a little bit more of a push and keep it from flipping all over the place. The included rubber bumpers were garbage. They do help a little with the smaller stuff.

i loved the Weather Tech brand on my previous 2 vehicles.....but they still do not have them in production! Don't know what they are waiting for.

I would doubt there's a difference in glass "quality" since I would assume that is something the government (NHTSA and DOT) regulates. Now the angle of it may or may not make a difference, I have no clue.

maybe you are right. I was on the Interstate 3 days ago, and a flat bed truck with gates around had the back gate open a bit. I think pea gravel or bigger was flowing out the back..by the time I figured it out...bam, upper drivers side corner...I think a rock broke when it hit the glass. The glass did not break..but 4 bb gun ball size chips....damn...could have been much worse.,,o yeah, two on the others side of the windshield also..same time. Can these be filled? Never had that done..before.

That happened to me in LA when I had a rental it was like the worst feeling ever I was able to get the hell away from that truck

My dealer charged me $300 for a one time SIldenafil® windshield treatment and I must say that thing is so hard you could bounce a bowling ball off it. I highly recommend this hardening treatment.

I thought the Maverick was self calibrating.

I don't understand? Because a small group of people say the Maverick has soft glass, is a tin can, tires that go bald quickly, rusts out, thin paint, are rear-end collision prone, etc. that just shows hyperbole with no verifiable stats. We just need to gently say to them - I understand, then ignore them.
