You thought warranty would cover it? Really?

I thought just like you that it was not a warranty issue up until I had mine crack from a little rut on an unpaved road. This should not happen and never did on any other car I have ever driven. Seems like a stress crack to me.

I got a crack on my windshield within 24 hours of getting my Maverick from the dealer. First, my catalytic converter was stolen during transit to the dealer....had to wait weeks for it. Now, 14 months later I get my truck. The next morning I get a crack while driving to work. I am so tired of the ongoing issues.

What was your quote to get a replacement windshield? Literally the same thing just happened and my online quote I got seemed a bit outrageous stating “recalibration” of my front view camera?

$250 for camera calibration, $371 total install cost. Here's my Safelite receipt for the Lariat Lux Acoustic Windshield.
Online quote is much higher than the quote after you actually talk to someone.
