Those are the old Crown Vic style which are most common. There's a newer variant where the raised 5-spoke extends out to the edge that was used for the Taurus/Explorer Interceptors but that should fit as well since the lug circle was the same and they also just clip on.@SLAMOLOGIST Would you mind providing an eBay link to the center caps you purchased? I know there is a difference across the police interceptor vehicles and want to make sure I pick up the right ones. Beautiful and simple build!
Well done!Been lurking since last July . Finally signed up. Here’s my Area51 XL Fwd .H&R Escape springs , trimmed bump stops. Blacked out wheels with interceptor hub caps. Roll up hard cover. Steeda bov mod . Added non xl factory things, Bed cubbies, tailgate lock actuator, cruise control.
I realize this post is 6 months old, but a couple of questions:The finish on this looks amazing, I am assuming you got some kind of coating? Ceramic or Graphene?
Graphene coating is like the next generation of Ceramic coating. It beads water better and is stated to last longer. The coating I had on my truck was a 7 year product which is longer than any Ceramic product I have seen on the market. I did not have my truck long enough to test that but for the few months I had it it looked amazing every day. Highly recommend either coating (I have Ceramic on my other vehicle)I realize this post is 6 months old, but a couple of questions:
1) I wasn't aware of a graphene coating. Can you explain what that is? Apologies if my question has already been answered.
2) Picture of your truck brings tears to my eyes. Hopefully, she's back to good as new?
This is why I go to this forum first thing in the morning. I learn something new and for some reason focusing on my Maverick for several minutes tends to calm me. Here was the finish when I had it installed. Even on white it looks crazyThis is why I go to this forum first thing in the morning. I learn something new and for some reason focusing on my Maverick for several minutes tends to calm me. Go figure.
Anyway, thank you for the explanation. Being a bit short on funding, I used a ceramic spray coating on both my vehicles. Very happy with the results considering the price and ease of application, but this graphene looks interesting. Off the top of my head, I'm guessing it has a graphite base formula of some kind.

Stock tires.@SLAMOLOGIST What size/style tires are you using? Stock tires?
