Love the look, Please tell us what size drop springs? Stagger or same size/2 or 3 inches.
They are H&R springs designed for the Escape awd. Front springs are different than the rear springs. Total drop after installation was about 2 1/4 - 2 1/2" in the rear and about 2 1/8" in the front.

I wish I had built a non FX-4. After seeing this video, I kind of want to change my plans of raising the Maverick to lowering it. You guys think I should lower an FX-4? I know it defeats the purpose, but I love the way it looks lowered.

I ordered an FX4 with the intention of lowering it mainly because I wanted the tow hook openings to convert to fog lights
Still not 100% how that’s going to work but we’ll figure it out when it lands

The springs aren't expensive. I paid around $350-$400 iirc and installed them myself.

Got around to lowering my Maverick over the weekend. Waiting on wheels and tires to arrive hopefully soon. Like the look and the ride is good. Still, I think another 3/4"-1" in the front will be perfect. Waiting to see if anyone offers front coilovers soon. Easy install but be aware..front strut to knuckle bolts are splined and will need to be knocked out once the nuts are removed.

Also included a pic of the stock front spring and the H&R front spring. You would think that with this big of difference it would have lowered the front a tad more. I'm sure it will settle a little.
Still, quite pleased. :)

Did you change the rear coil isolator for the passenger side? just got my coils in, looking to do it over this weekend.

No I did not. I slightly modified mine so the spring would sit correctly

Just the rear. Front I encountered no issues at all. 😉
i finally got around to swapping the springs, i started wit the front but found that the hr springs sat loose on the shock even after compressing. maybe they changed the shocks? im not sure, but i didn't want any rattling so i took them off.
