Got around to lowering my Maverick over the weekend. Waiting on wheels and tires to arrive hopefully soon. Like the look and the ride is good. Still, I think another 3/4"-1" in the front will be perfect. Waiting to see if anyone offers front coilovers soon. Easy install but be aware..front strut to knuckle bolts are splined and will need to be knocked out once the nuts are removed.

Also included a pic of the stock front spring and the H&R front spring. You would think that with this big of difference it would have lowered the front a tad more. I'm sure it will settle a little.
Still, quite pleased. :)

Ground to top of fender:
Rear 31"
Front 31 1/4"
Sits pretty even but front should be a tad lower imho.....or the rear about a half inch higher. The latter is not a consideration lol, so I'll wait til coils are available to dial in the front. Really needs a rear sway bar....no lie.

Looks good! I think I still have quite a wait in front of me until mine arrives. Hoping there's a maverick specific option available for whenever mine gets built and delivered.

Maybe time to add some steel plates under the front to even it out ?

Were the front springs loose when installed on the strut? Everything that i have read says they are. If yes either the strut is too long or the jouncer inside the strut dust cover is causing the strut not to compress. Ive been wanting to lower mine but haven't because i dont want it to ride like crap, everyones definition of a good ride is different.

Yes slightly loose when the strut is reassembled and tightened down. Once installed and with the weight of the truck still on the jack stands.... the spring is compressed and firmly seated.

While everyone DOES have their own opinion about ride quality.... all I can say is this. I have a 2016 crew cab F150 as well as a 2021 RCSB F150 and neither ride nearly as good as the Maverick.
I'm very sensitive to vibration and rough riding as it drives me insane. The Maverick rides about the same after lowering as it did prior. I expect this to change when my new wheels and tires arrive. Though I bought what I feel are the absolute BEST tires performance a d ride quality wise (Michelin 255/30/22 Super Sport S4 @ $530/tire) I expect the ride quality to be a lil more like a sports car....best way I can describe it but still not overly harsh. These are make do components for front runners... once specific and high quality coilovers etc. start to come out... it should be of no concern. Enjoy your truck now. ;)

lol, from the thumbnail I just saw the middle picture and thought you were doing the Carolina Squat w/ the front up high and butt down low.

If I can ever get a Mav order in, I'll try some standard Escape springs if I can find some affordably from Australia where they have the same twist beam IIRC, for those that want the stock ride height but presumably a bit softer.

Nah... 1/4" will not really bother you. Hipocratic Oathe....do no harm. No need for addition plates etc. ;)

Knuckle bolts are “spliced”? Did you mean to say “splined”? (Otherwise, I’m confused).

Honest mistake. Autocorrected...yes meant splined. See pic for clarity. Original post corrected/updated

Love the look, Please tell us what size drop springs? Stagger or same size/2 or 3 inches.
