side badge lighting

Those of you that have done a diy light mod have u used a truemod of partsman amber 3 wire light from amazon? both look alike just wondering about light output and wattage. I do not want to blind people next to me,but like the idea of extra signal. Thanks

What did you use to bore the hole in the emblem? A drill? What bit? I have a drill press & spade blades that I have used to bore holes in plastic, was planning to use this, but let me know if you have better suggestions.

I used to sell those lights. They are for general truck and trailer marker lights. I sure wouldn't use them on a Maverick.

And I ordered these and didn't like the size of them, (and I think white on the side is illegal and it was kind of blinding), but I used the wiring harness from it.

I think I will use just the led light but may use some tint to soften the brightness. Ideas still in the works

I used a Forstner bit on a drill press, as I felt it would be a cleaner cut with less chance of grabbing.

Forstner bit, thanks, have & will use. Know you tapped into positive lead of turn signals, but where/how did you ground the lights? On driver's side, top of horn is a good ground, but on the passenger side, can't locate a good ground. Prefer not to tap into ground wire of the turn signal & trying to shorten the ground to a minimum. Thanks, schal
