Sorry but no sir. Like I mentioned to my brother when he drove it the first time, keep your eyes on the shifter to ensure it isn’t accidentally turned to the wrong spot. He didn’t. Darn near backed into my wife’s PHEV Escape!

Sometimes when I reach for the shifter knob I turn on the turn signals instead. But my excuse is I'm old and senile.

Never had a shifter not on the floor, so haven't made that mistake. My last car had a peddle for the parking brake, so for a while I went to do it, and remember it was the little switch.

The only thing I sometimes mess up, just from habit, is what direction I push the stock for the windshield wipers. On my Japaneses cars you pushed down to turn them on, on the Ford it's up.

Today I reached for the wiper stalk. My only automatic is a Silverado so I caught myself reaching for the wiper stalk before I thought whoa that's not right. Good thing because I may have broke it cause it does not move that direction.

i think old age is my excuse also. Or I turn on a blinker at the stop sign and then go straight. another is seeing a signal light turn red and stopping one intersection too soon. embarassing........

Not yet.
But having had an F-150 for over two decades, I did catch myself reaching for the wiper stalk to shift, a couple times! I like the fact that they included PRNDL in the dash cluster display. I look there more than I look down at the dial, to verify what gear I'm in.
I'm also starting to just reach down for the dial, instead of looking for it. So I'm getting used to the location and beginning to mostly use muscle memory to operate it.

No, but I have unlatched the hood a couple of times with my foot when getting out!
