I bought my wife a black 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. It is a sharp vehicle but a pain to keep clean and the paint shows every scratch and swirl. No more black vehicles for us.

For me personally if i was getting to choose my color i wanted a fun one. Also i dont think Mav’s look particularly special in black. Just personal preference really. I think the area 51, orange, and cactus contrast best with the exterior plastics.
some cars look great blacked out. i just dont think mav is one of them. And since theres basically no black in the interior… i kinda think ford agrees
My hybrid is shadow black, first black vehicle and it is really a pain in the ass to keep clean.

Shadow Black is probably the best color on the Maverick. I passed on it because I had Fusion and an Escape in black and needed a change.

Shadow black, absolutely gorgeous. Had a tuxedo black F 150 before my Mav. That thing was a pain to keep pristine but when summer came around, I was always proud of it.
I'm afraid you have been misinformed. Oxford White it the best color on the Maverick.......I maybe a little biased though in regards to that opinion.

In my opinion black looks really good on vehicles that have a lot of chrome details but the Maverick doesn't have much of that. It's the same reason why I'm not a big fan of Alto blue even though it's a nice color

i was torn between shadow black and carbon grey. Carbon grey just looked so different from photo to photo that I didnt feel confident with it. So went with black.

Had 3 black cars in a row. Best color when clean but 15 mins later not so much.
Had 3 white cars in a row after the 3 black. Easier to keep clean but got burned out on the white.
My Maverick will be carbonized grey but will be ceramic coating it once I get it to make the cleaning process easy.
