Thank you. I was surprised how easily that Quick Detailer was to apply - a couple sprays, wipe with a microfiber cloth, repeat. I wasn't going to buy a black vehicle, but my wife and kids all voted it as the best color choice. They weren't wrong, as it turns out. I also think removing those dull, door pillar vinyl strips improves the look. I saw a Youtube on it and they easily peeled off.

It's a shame your dealer put such a large advertisement sticker on your tailgate though.

Those tailgate stickers advertising the dealer can be removed. When I bought my Maverick, I asked the dealer if he was going to pay me to advertise their dealership. They said "no", so I removed it.

I used Chemical Guys WAC21116 Synthetic Quick Detailer. It comes in a spray bottle, easy to apply and the truck shines up easily with the directions on the bottle. I removed those vinyl door trim pieces. I think it looks better without them.

But if they did I would have ripped that sticker off the minute I got home.

We had my '02 E150 Traveller for a bit over 20 years, and I still hadn't succeeded in getting the last of the gummy adhesive for that sticker removed! goo-gone helped, but wasn't up to it.
