We have a Shadow Black Bronco Sport. We are fortunate as ours stays in the garage and can stay clean much longer. If kept outside it would be hard to keep clear, Water spots show bad on black, and as someone said, you see all the swirls. When we got ours with only 4 miles on it I was shocked to see the amount of swirls that had already appeared, and the pillars were really bad. I was able to do a full detail, paint correct and put a graphene coating on it. Makes washing so easy now. Now when clear this black is perfect. The shine is amazing. That said I went Carbonized Grey for my Maverick. Debating if I want to do a front PPF but that's for another thread.

Black looks great! Hard to keep clean. Hot in summer. I ordered work truck white.

We are an elite group within the Mavericks. Subtle, quiet, without the need for flashy color...kidding, anyone who has ever owned a black vehicle, modded it, and doesnt mind the effort to keep it clean, knows that nothing matches a black ride when clean and modded up. Keep it Gangsta.

I’m not sold on black with all the satin plastic trim. Maverick has nice lines. Black hides it. But I have only seen pictures. Maybe in the wild it doesn’t. Did I mention it’s hard to keep clean and hot.

Living in the tropics prefer not to have the seats end up as a puddle on the floor. 😎

I suspect there were a lot of orders for black. I just don't think they photograph well. But, for us, we've already had our quota of black vehicles, and we're over it.
I ordered black to replace my wifes black Ford Escape. Although it does show dirt, I think black is easier to touch up a paint scratch. Besides there will be too many area 51's on the street.

We have a black fiesta st and it looks great clean, but compared to other colors it looks kinda plain.

cars have a lot of black bits and pieces on the outside (rubber around windows, plastic trim, and things like that) which look good with white or another light color.

at least that is what I think…2 cents

I’ve owned one black car - never again.
I went with silver, because white is too fleet looking, the carbon was just too dark, and the 51 and cactus were not metallic. Would have gone with green had it been an option.

My current car is ingot silver. I originally ordered icon silver But switched to carbonized grey because I didn’t want 2 silver vehicles. Always liked the metallic grey offered in the Mustang and carbonized grey is similar So I went with that. Ceramic coating should help with dirt and swirl marks and make it easy to clean.
