I’ve had my beautiful and fun Maverick since mid-February and I’ve had three people stop me to ask about it. One guy knew what it was and asked how long it took to get it (472 days); another guy at a stop sign (he was on foot) and another guy who I heard from across the parking lot reading out loud the name on the tailgate (Mav-er-ick…now what is that!?). They all were super interested in it.

I love talking Maverick and answering their questions. My youngest daughter has been with me for two of them and she remarked to my wife that “he loves when people ask him about his truck”! 😆
I gotta say, that I was waiting for a few months and then I went to the dealer and asked if they could change my order priority code from 19 to 10. The dealer said sure, but it won't make a difference. When I got home from the dealer, I had an email saying my code had been changed and my car was scheduled. WTF?! I did have two delays, but it's on a train today. So, for what it's worth, if you haven't upgraded your order code, give it a try. Oh, and it is with restricted items like the tow package, mud flaps, but I deleted the spray in bed liner. I figured after market.

2-3 per month in SoCal
I have only seen three ever in Atlanta.

I am pretty sure that having space on a train and the cost of shipping is a major factor in selecting which Mavericks get built.

Any Maverick going to SoCal would need to go through Arizona so Ford can likely save at least a few hundred dollars by building the Arizona trucks first.

I wish they had a program where you could pick up your Maverick in Tucson or Phoenix which are just north of the factory. That would save Ford a lot a shipping costs too.

My September order has made it to Atlanta and is just waiting to be shipped the last 20 miles by truck so I somehow got very lucky.

Yep, I definitely would have made the trip, but it's supposed to be here in SoCal Wednesday. All in all, compared to others, I feel pretty lucky. I ordered in September on the last day. 7 months?! I'll take it!

I was at home Depot the other day. While loading the Mav up with pavers I had 2 people ask me how I like it and that they want to get one!

Lyynebern,

would you be willing to share a screenshot of those e-mails?
