Kinda gm made a 9 speed in partnership with ford ... An then ford redid it as an 8 speed. At least that's what I've heard. I've never driven a ctv that felt right. I think a ctv would be the wrong route with he Ecoboost.
I have friends running around in 500hp focus sts with the 2.0.. and from what I've seen the block in the maverick has some improvements over that older block. The trans is the scary part, who knows. It's ford so it'll have transmission issues. Haha.
Allen said the tune from Cobb was just being super safe. It's the same-ish 2.0 out of a lot of cars but it's got some newer different stuff from say a focus st..
Guess I should have washed my truck, haha. So dirty.
It made 303hp 346tq with just a warm air intake on e50.
I got a meowless downpipe, intercooler and afe exhaust showing up this week. Gunna go back an do a max effort (stock turbo) dyno pull hopefully in the next few weeks. Curious if it...
Got too many projects.. 2017 focus RS... Always broken
91 Nissan hardbody bagged an bodied. Also works great as a workbench. Haha.
85 merkur xr4ti.. was my dad's car, tracked it down an bought it back blown up an beat up.
Wish there was more time in the day! Everything is always triple the...
The lariat head lights don't just swap over to the xl... The harness is different. I think there might be quite a bit different between the different lvl trims wiring harnesses.
The gauge brightness button down by your left knee make the screen brighter also. I know it would be hard to see in a photo. But can anyone post one here of how dim their screen looks? Mine is plenty bright on the dimmest setting.
It was -5 here the other day. The 2.0 EB heats up plenty fast. The main vents get hot.. almost too hot. The feet and the defroster seem a little underwhelming somehow though.
My 2.3 in my focus RS makes 500hp an 550trq at the wheels up here at a mile high in Denver.. which would be fun in the Maverick. Doubt the auto trans would be happy though.
Seem like you'd be better off just upgrading the turbo, intercooler, fuel pump, injectors and run full e85 with a Dyno...
This is my commuter car.. So it's nice that it's simple. The shifter is fine... Any manual mode shifting seems worthless to me. The truck would just shift up at redline anyways... And fight you to down shift when you want.
Never been a fan of pretending that somehow manually shifting an auto...
