Setting clock and daylight savings time

With all the stuff the maverick can do safety wise and all the settings we can change on the truck tell me one thing!why couldn’t the clock set itself for daylight saving time yes ,i know all states don’t have daylight savings time!

I’m in AZ, so I can’t relate , but I wonder if they new Sync4 in the 2025 models handles this better than Sync3 in the earlier model years?

Since it's one of the easiest clocks to change I have no problem. In my Camry if you had to set the clock backwards It was a pain. Let's say it was 2:00 and you had to go back to 1:00 You would hold the button for a second and it would go to three, four, five and six and seven and eight and nine and 10 11 and 12 and then finally one. If you had to set the clock forward you would hold the hour button for a second and then a lot of times it would go boom boom and jump two numbers so you had to then sit there and hold it till it came around again. At least with this truck when you look at the time you just press the up button or the down button once... Done!

True but it only takes 4-7 seconds to add or subtract 1 hour on the clock.
ETA: I have a clock on a shelf that cannot get the radio time signal to update so it defaults to counting the 60 cycles/second. Sooo since the AC current varies an itsy bitsy bitty bit (59.97?/sec) I have to add 4-7 minutes every 5-6 months!

weird. my 2023 escape sets the time just fine. just needs to lock onto the gps signal. do you not have mapping?

My Maverick clock resets itself for DST? I just went and double checked. I do have Sync 3.

I leave it set for daylight savings time all year. It‘s only off by an hour for about 16 weeks. If the exact time is needed, I plug the phone in and the display shows the time based on the phone.
