The taillights on my 2025 Lariat Hybrid are pretty classy without being amber, but I have long believed that amber turn signals on the side and in the rear are a huge factor in safety. I am open to hearing how you feel about this and if it is worth $200 to upgrade while the present OEM ones are okay but not that great. The model I am considering goes into motion on right or left turn in amber from a center point in the light. See the picture...

Chuck, if you like them buy them.
I also am a long believer that Amber turn signals are better than the red ones we have.
On my 2018 Buick Encore I had Amber filament bulb style turn signals, they were okay. When I saw the difference that LEDs offered.
I had to make the change.
The video below on a 2017 Buick Encore. It demonstrates the difference between regular turn signal bulbs and LEDs. People behind me damn well knew when I was changing lanes. At long stop lights. I would turn off my turn signal so it's not to irritate the driver behind me.
SKIP TO 4:00 and be enlightened.

Someone installed these or one set similar and they were so dark they were unsafe. I would be very careful what aftermarket lights you use. It was either these of the F ones (not Form)

I prefer amber tail lights for safety reasons as well. Whether I would pay $200 for the upgrade would depend on the quality of the taillights. I wouldn't downgrade the quality of an OEM taillight just for the amber turn indicator advantage.

I'm of the belief that the OEM taillights are visible from the side. Correct me if I'm wrong. As far as for the front, there are a couple of threads here that address doing a modification and if I can toot my own horn, here's a link to my modification that was easy and inexpensive.

The taillights on the Maverick are relatively large for such a small vehicle and the OEM bulbs are satisfactorily bright. Compare them to a Toyota SUV or sedan next time you're behind one. Teeny, tiny spots of light - no thanks. Worthless in fog.
