Who put in orders on day one?

I left my dealer about 4 hours before ordering opened. Provided $1000 down payment and precisely what my order would be.

• 2023 Maverick XL Hybrid (W8E)
• Cactus Gray
• 400 watt inverter (47K)
• Rear parking sensors (76B) (unsure if they'll be able to order these on an XL, may require different trim/package)
• Remote start (18R) because getting the Ford app out of my pocket 20x a day to cool the truck down before I get to it is cumbersome)
• Wifi removal (19W)

Yes, I know that getting my order in today doesn't mean anything in the scheduling nightmare ahead but I'll throw the dice hoping an early order will net a sooner delivery.

Walked into my local dealer (Lexington Park Ford) right before 4 PM EST yesterday, started talking to the product specialist/sales rep and said he couldn't do anything until order banks opened but I was welcome to wait in the lobby. As I was getting up from the desk announcement came from the sales floor "Maverick order banks are open!". It was 4:02 PM.

Turns out I was first in line, no wait, and got the order confirmed right before the order banks started crashing at 4:32 PM. In and out within 30 minutes with a customer signed order agreement and $750 deposit.

Stopped by at my local dealer (Bill Pierre Ford in Seattle) before the end of the day yesterday and the sale rep didn’t have access to the system so he told me to leave my contact info and my preferred specs. Hopefully to hear back later today, come down and sign papers and then start the waiting process.

23MY - ALL trims can use Ford Pass app to remote start, but it appears that you can purchase the key fob start on ANY trim or level now. We'll see. I'm also concerned about the rear parking sensors as they show "fleet only."

Norris Ford hooked me up at 4:45 on the 15th. The system was acting up, but the sales manager got it to go through after about 20 mounts of hitting the submit button over and over.
I got an Area 51 XLT AWD with 4K tow package and got the order summary from [email protected] today that said my priority code is 10.

Opted to not get many options so I can get my truck ASAP because my 2008 Fusion is starting to become not so reliable, but plan to add a few aftermarket options once it comes in.

9/15/2022 Atlas Blue XLT, XLT Lux Package, Co Pilot 360, and remote start. I wanted the rear sensors but apparently they are for fleet orders only. Maybe they change that before build.
