Senior citizen Maverick owners thread

62 yrs old here.

Had a BMW Z4, a Lotus Evora and SUV all at the same time. Still have the SUV but sold the Evora and Z4 cuz we were tired of climbing out of small cars. Bought the Maverick and Love it. But a part of me still wants to have the Lotus back! Wow, what a car.

A tie maybe--I'll be 87 in Dec also Rolled over my '23 order into '24 MY. Losing interest & may just sell if ever get it. Crazy to wait this long, per my wife & friends.

You know, if can get on internet for you, you can find them, just give them a down pay and it’s yours, got tired of waiting too,. I’m enjoying and not being depressed about it, as my order just seems to be collecting dust after resigning twice

Had a deep sea metallic blue Z4 too, just sold as only need one praticle vehicle in my older age

I’m 71. My Maverick is a 22 Lariat AWD lux package, copilot 360, Cactus Gray. Currently 24K miles.

I am 77. I have a 2023 Maverick Lariat ICE. It has 1900 miles and is only used on trips of more than 200 miles round trip. I just took it to Panama City Beach for two weeks. My primary car is a 2021 Mustang Mach e GT PE with 10,000 miles that I drive locally around Atlanta.

I am 67 and have a 2022 Lariat with Ecoboost and all options. My wife is 71 and her Maverick is a 2022 XLT AWD FX4 with an Ecoboost engine.
Her Maverick just passed 25k miles. Both are Carbonized Gray and we have not had the first issue with either of them.

I’m 68 years old and I waited 505 days to get my 23 hybrid lariat in cyber orange with most of the bells and whistles. It’s perfect for me and I have no trouble finding My Tonka in a big parking lot!

I see mostly olds in Mavericks here. 1 old lady in a cyber orange. It was parked in front of a bank. I had to wait to see the owner walk out. I was thinking, no way a old person driving that truck. Sure enough little ol lady walked out and got in it.

You have to understand that those fun colors are a byproduct of the fun colors of the older times too. The 70s had some wild colors, but so did the 20s.

Just turned 70. Been driving 2 Rangers since 1999. Just waited for a small hybrid. Ford wins, I have a 2023 XLT Hybrid and a 2024 on order, suppose to build Nov. 11th. My 2023 is great, 4th tank of gas at 42.3 MPG.

Us girls like trucks too !!! I am 77. I have had my '23 Oxford White Lariat Hybrid for about 4 weeks, and already have 1900 miles on her. I am selling my 24' motorhome and tow car. The doctor said I had to scale down, so my interpretation of that was to order my Maverick and a tiny "Happier Camper" to pull with it. It's a tiny trailer. Never too old to have a good time camping. While camping I often fish and oil paint.

My 69 year old wife has a 22 Maverick loaded Lariat hybrid. Since we’re both retired it’s our main ride most places but of course I do the driving. It’s a fun little truck to drive but I prefer my 21 Ranger Lariat FX4 to drive. If there’s anything off-road or snow when we travel then we take the Ranger otherwise it’s the Maverick.

64 yr old who's glad he was patient enough to wait almost 16 months to receive our XLT hybrid last March. Still amazed that this truck almost gets as good mileage around town at my 2015 Prius!

I'm going on 81 years young. I got the Maverick Lariat Hybrid to flat tow behind my Phaeton Motorhome. I also have a F-150 set up to flat tow behind the motorhome. But, the Maverick is better to knock around in.

Hey guys I will be 80 on 10/20/23 and have a 2022 and a 2023 both are AWD Lariats that are loaded.
In my garage I have a 2004 Mercury Marauder and a 2014 triple black Mustang GT convertible with the coyote 420 HP motor.Who says we old people can't have some fun.I am very pleased with the 2 Mavericks and my wife likes hers.We have a 2024 to be build on 10/30/23.
