My sensor seems to have stopped working. It stays on night all of the time so that my screen displays are always dim unless I turn off the auto headlights.

Has anyone had their Day - Night light sensor on the dash or associated components replaced. If so what was actually done and what was the symptoms of the problem? :confused:

After some checking, that didn’t fix the problem. The problem stems from the day - night sensor not working correctly. It is in the night position no matter how much light there is.

I just went into settings and changed the light mode to day from auto. It appears to have fixed my problem.

Both Screens are affected, It appears that the truck thinks its dark all of the time. This just started yesterday. Before that everything was normal. I have turned both of those adjustments all the way up.

I’m wondering if anyone else has had their display screens go dim during the day like they should go when its dark. I have to turn my auto headlights off to be able to see the screens during the day. I have turned the brightness up all the way on settings. I don’t know if I’ve accidently done...

Thank You, I was actually talking about the remote unlocking option. But I’m clear on it now.

Thank you for the clarification, I haven’t got the 2026 yet. I just assumed, because it was an option on the build system that they didn’t come with it. :frown:

I’m wondering if the 2024 tail gate actuator JB3Z-994317A & cable assembly NZ6Z-14A412-C can be used to upgrade a 2026 Lariat that didn’t come with that option? :confused:

What I have found is that these charge devices fail regularly. I had to give up on them after two of them failed. You can tell if its working or not with the lights. If your battery is being discharged which it sounds like it is. Then you are not charging the towed vehicle. :sadface:

It depends on how you open the door with your hand. Most people don’t have the problem, my wife has never done it either. But, I did it all the time and still do sometimes, even through I attempt not to. :blush:

As is mentioned above. The Maverick is not comparable to a Ranger. I traded the Ranger I had because I didn't want it. If you want a bigger bed and more ground clearance then get the Ranger or F-150. However, that comes with a price difference, the Ranger is now north of $50K to buy. :cry:

That would be great if the AWD model could be flat towed. I suppose I jumped to conclusions that it would be like the earlier Mavericks that were AWD and couldn’t be flat towed. :blush:

I was ready to trade my 2023 Lariat Hybrid for a 2025 Lariat Hybrid until I noticed that Ford shot themselves in the foot, by not offering a FWD Lariat model. I have no issue with AWD, except for one small problem. I can’t flat tow one of those behind my motorhome. There is nothing wrong with...

I went to my dealer yesterday and got an appointment for 5 weeks from now. Which is ridiculous. I'm going to go back and see if they will just order the module while I'm waiting? :crazy:

I just started getting the pedestrian sounder fault - service now alert. Mine only alerts at each start up. So I assume it will get worse. :shock: I assume if I unplug the module that the alarm won’t go away?

I certainly have my fair share of display problems on my 2023 Lariat Hybrid. MY navigation will not give up on the last address I put in. Every time I start the truck it recalculates the same address over and over. The screen also locks up with the back-up camera. Then the screen will just...

This RVI toad charge kit is what I use to connect the MH charge line to the toad. It has lights that indicate the circuit is or is not working. I’m confused with what you’re attempting to use?
