They are acceptable. After about 19 hours the seat felt a little hard. I think any seat would have been the same. 10-12 hours should not be a problem. Lariat lumbar helps a great deal.

There are too many “Negative Nancy” type of people spreading rumors about the truck, and yet, they don’t even have one themselves.

Don’t listen to Negative Nancy.

The XLT seats are comfortable, but like others have said, for those who are taller/wider than average(I am 6'4") the seats are more narrow and the seat bottom is shorter than other cars I have owned. XLT Lux package with the power drivers gives you the added lumber adjustment. Only shortfall of the power drivers is the height adjustment moves in one, slightly angled motion, so you cannot adjust the "tilt"(front and rear) of the seat base.

I'm fairly tall, over 6' and I spent a couple of days in a Maverick. I will say that if you're taller, the seat bottom is pretty short so your upper legs hang off and the seat bottom doesn't give the greatest leg support. I was pretty disappointed by that but I won't be using the Maverick for long trips so it doesn't matter to me. That being said, the seat does adjust back far enough for adequate leg room and the steering wheel telescopes far enough out, it's just the seat bottom that is too short.
This is my wife's assessment as well in a Lariat - the seat bottom cushion itself is too short and the angle or tilt cannot be changed (passenger side). I have been fine with it but I'm the driver with the power seat. She is not. I make two 6-7 hr drives monthly and, while not the most comfortable seats I've ever been in, they are not bad. I too can see how some would complain about the seat length being inadequate however.

I was told by the dealership that the seats in the XLT and Lariat are the same except for the cover of either cloth or faux leather.

They arent overly uncomfortable but they arent the greatest. They are better than what my old mercury had but dont hold a candle to my mazdas. Long trips should be fine but dont expect to be sitting on clouds.

The Front seats on my Lariat are just fine. The back seat is not quite as comfortable as the back seat the Bronco Sport though.

They're not great. Even on the Lariat Lux, the seat bottom cannot be adjusted separately from the rest of the seat.

Not sure who is complaining about the seats, but no problems here. They are hands down the most comfortable seats I've had in a vehicle. (XLT)
I think if someone doesn't like the seats they may be too damn wide for them. Mine are great but I can understand if someone that was wider than I am could get punched in the kidneys by the seat bolsters. I really like these seats when I compare them with the seats in my 2019 Escape SE. Those were even narrower than the Maverick seats and just as firm.

Front seats in my Lariat are very comfortable. As some have mentioned, it would be nice to be able to tilt the seat bottom, but for me that is a minor complaint. Made two trips of 300 miles each way on I95 without complaint. No idea about the back seats.

I'm 6'-0" and wife is 5'-10" and we find No Issues with the XLT seats. We have took several 3-4 hour trips and a seat complaint has never crossed our minds.

I'm 6'-1" and 375 lbs. Pretty damn wide. I am good with the seats.
